Musical & Theater Productions
Our CIS theater program brings stories to life with two major productions each year—a fall musical and a spring play. Students dive into acting, singing, and stagecraft under the guidance of our skilled music and drama instructors. With fantastic costumes and professional equipment, each performance becomes a memorable experience for both participants and audience members.
Hip Hop Dance
Hip Hop classes invite students to express themselves through high-energy choreography set to music chosen by the group. Throughout the season, students collaborate to learn a routine that builds their rhythm, creativity, and teamwork skills. At the semester’s end, they perform for friends and family, sharing their achievements and having a blast on stage.
Contemporary Dance
Contemporary Dance introduces students to the basics of this expressive dance style in a fun, supportive environment. Through movement, storytelling, and improvisation, students develop balance, coordination, and musicality while exploring their creativity. At the semester’s end, dancers perform for an audience, showcasing their progress and newfound confidence.
Drama Club
In Grade 4 Drama Club, students explore acting techniques through activities and games. Older students attend Musical Theater where they delve into dialogue, monologues, and methods such as Stanislavski and Meisner.
