Events
Parent and student volunteers are essential to the success of our school events. Volunteers help plan, coordinate, and run a variety of gatherings, from cultural festivals to sports days and special celebrations. It’s a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the vibrant CIS community while building connections with other families and students.
Practical and Administrative Support
CIS relies on volunteers to help with practical and administrative tasks that keep our school running smoothly. Whether it’s assisting in classrooms, organizing materials, or supporting school offices, parent and student volunteers provide valuable hands-on help that makes a big impact.
Coaching and Leadership
Our student volunteers in Grades 9-12 have the unique opportunity to step into leadership roles as assistant coaches. With around 25 positions available, student assistant coaches work alongside experienced staff to guide younger students in various sports and activities. This role offers an invaluable chance to build coaching skills, teamwork, and mentorship experience, all while making a positive contribution to the CIS community.
Hawks Booster Club
The Booster Club is dedicated to extending hospitality to visiting teams, parents, and coaches, ensuring that everyone feels welcomed at CIS. Through pre-game receptions, snack bars, and team gatherings, we foster a warm, inviting atmosphere that enhances the overall experience for players and fans alike.
The Booster Club raises funds to support our Hawks teams, enabling them to access essential equipment, travel for competitions, and participate in team-building activities.Through sales efforts, we help ensure our teams have everything they need to succeed.
