In Portuguese, we have an “ambiente acolhedor”

You translated “a welcoming environment” to “ambiente acolhedor”, Cristina. What does it mean?
“‘’Ambiente acolhedor’ means an environment where you feel at home, where you feel welcome. The verb 'acolher' means to take care of something, to gather, to bring together. Imagine that you are someone inviting a person into your own house and you want to make them feel like a part of the family. It means ‘to receive warmly with care’.”

That sounds like “hygge” in Portuguese?
“Careful with that! I don’t want to get into trouble with the Danes. Hygge is very untouchable. We will respect that.”
