Student athlete Ebba’s tips for lockdown: Runs, retail therapy and not worrying too much about food

"The best part of online school is waking up an hour later than usual. For breakfast I like to start the day off right with a smoothie bowl and an embarrassingly large amount of coffee, that helps me get through my first two blocks.
For lunch, I’ll usually have a sandwich along with whatever baked good I’d made the night before, today was avocado and fried egg and brownie cookies. I always try to drink a lot of water during my meals as I seem to forget to do so during the rest of the day.
I’ll also snack on nuts and bars throughout the day and try to eat healthy, but I think it's also good to just eat what and when you want, and not to think too much about it.
If the weather is right and I have a free block I'll try to go for a run. The hardest part is actually getting out the door, but I always feel a bit better once I’ve exercised.
After school I might meet up with a friend to go for a walk. Having a dog forces you to get out of the house and meeting up with a friend at the same time kills two birds with one stone.
Sometimes as a reward for completing my hard senior work, I like to partake in what some would call ‘retail therapy’. To make it more sustainable I try to stick to online second hand stores but occasionally Zalando falls into the mix.
By the end of the day I try to avoid any more screen time and instead read a book, but often find myself finishing the day with Netflix."
