4th graders get their numbers right

“We have different color LEGO bricks and we have to throw them to the 1’s, 10’s, 100’s, or 1000’s and each block is worth a number,” Christabella explains their LEGO math game. “Then when you throw it, it tells us the number placement. Whoever gets the biggest number wins.” “Basically what we learned is that this game is really fun and it helps us learn how to place values,” Max comments. “It’s really fun because it’s with LEGOs and LEGOs are fun. Plus, you get to play with your friends and it’s a really good way to learn.” “The place value helps a lot with alignment and it also helps with multi-digit addition equations,” Huy Anh adds. “It is really fun. You throw the LEGOs like dice.”
