Can we get a subsidy? (Pre-Kindergarten)

Pre-Kindergarten students living in Denmark and with a CPR number may be eligible for a subsidy from their local municipality (kommune)

Please note!

What are the costs for after-school activities (SFO)?

SFO is a Danish term that covers all after school activities for Kindergarten to Grade 3. Private schools in Denmark get a subsidy from the government for this. These activities normally take place after school in Danish schools. Since not all children in a Danish school will attend the SFO, the subsidy is adjusted accordingly.

At our school, such activities are integrated into the school day, and we receive the SFO subsidy for all children attending K to Grade 3. We are obliged by law to separately invoice a part of our tuition as an SFO Fee.  It is not an extra fee but an integral part of our tuition fee and should be covered by your company. If you have any questions, please contact our business office.

How much do learning support services cost?

Learning support fees are in addition to regular tuition and school expenses for students at each grade level.

Intensive Plus: The student receives accommodations and/or individualized instruction provided by learning support staff for the majority of the school day including a combination of classroom support, support during lunch, breaks, and transitions dependent on need.  165,000 DKK/year

ILP Custom Level: This individualised program involves a combination of services that exceeds the expectations and provision of Intensive Plus. The additional learning support fees would be determined by the additional provision required.
