A full International Baccalaureate Diploma requires six subjects
You must choose one subject from each group 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 plus either an Arts subject or a subject from groups 1-4.
Three subjects must be taken at Higher Level and three at Standard Level. Apart from Self-Taught Literature, German ab initio and Danish ab initio, all subjects at our school can be studied at either Higher or Standard Level (HL/SL). Higher Level may mean additional information, and/or more exams and/or a greater depth of analysis.
Subject availability depends on class size and scheduling
IB Diploma Programme students must also study Theory of Knowledge, write a 4,000 word Extended Essay and participate in CAS experiences – Creativity, Activity and Service.
