What should my Pre-Kindergarten child buy/bring to school?

Pre-Kindergarten

  • Reusable water bottle clearly labelled with your child’s name
  • A box/container for your child’s daily snack
  • A labelled lunch box
  • Slippers clearly labelled with your child’s name with rubber soles and back
  • Rain gear (waterproof jacket, pants/trousers and boots) clearly labelled with your child’s name. We go outside in all weather. 
  • Two complete sets of clothes in a bag (pants, shirt, a few pair of socks, and underwear) appropriate for the season
  • Students will be expected to wear suitable sports clothes on PE (Physical Education) days to ensure they can participate safely.  
  • Clothes should be comfortable and allow for full participation in PE lessons.
  • PE shoes. Please purchase “børne gymnastic/balance sko” shoes for your child from a sports shop (e.g. Sportsmaster, Sportigan, Intersport). In P.E. the children typically wear them without socks.
  • One backpack which needs to fit an A4 folder and should not be on wheels.

What should my Kindergarten child buy/bring to school?

Kindergarten

  • Reusable water bottle clearly labelled with your child’s name
  • A box/container for your child’s daily snack
  • A labelled lunch box
  • Indoor shoes clearly labelled with your child’s name. They can also be used for PE (Physical Education) shoes if they are athletic shoes with non marking soles and have not been used outdoors
  • Rain clothes (waterproof jacket, pants/trousers and boots) clearly labelled with your child’s name. We go outside in all weather. 
  • One complete set of clothes in a bag (pants, shirt, a few pair of socks, and underwear) appropriate for the season
  • Students will be expected to wear suitable sports clothes on PE (Physical Education) days to ensure they can participate safely.  
  • Clothes should be comfortable and allow for full participation in PE lessons.

What should my 1st Grade child buy/bring to school?

Grade 1

  • Reusable water bottle clearly labelled with your child’s name
  • A box/container for your child’s daily snack
  • A labelled lunch box
  • A named pencil case complete with coloured pencils and a pencil sharpener.
  • Indoor shoes clearly labelled with your child’s name. They can also be used for PE (Physical Education) shoes if they are athletic shoes with non marking soles and have not been used outdoors
  • Rain gear (waterproof jacket, pants/trousers and boots) clearly labelled with your child’s name. We go outside in all weather.
  • One complete set of clothes in a bag (pants, shirt, a few pair of socks, and underwear) appropriate for the season
  • A pair of headphones clearly labelled with your child’s name to be kept in the classroom
  • Students will be expected to wear suitable sports clothes on PE (Physical Education) days to ensure they can participate safely.  
  • Clothes should be comfortable and allow for full participation in PE lessons.
  • PE shoes. Indoor athletic shoes that have non marking soles and have only been used indoors. ‘Indoor shoes’ listed above can be used if they meet the ‘PE shoes’ criteria.

  • A recorder for music
